Welcome back to The Long Island Center for Yoga. Here are all the details you need to know before joining us at the studio again.

  • Pre-registration for classes is required (no walk-ins at this time). Each class will have 9 students max (with floor decals indicating 6 feet apart).

  • If you have to cancel your registration, you must do so at least 2 hours prior to class. We now have to be strict with our cancellation policy because we have such limited space at this time. If you cancel after the 2 hour window, or if you don’t show up for the class you signed up for and don’t cancel, you will be charged a $10 cancellation fee. Cancellations must be made via Mindbody.

  • Masks must be worn at all times and everyone must stay 6 feet apart.

  • We will be checking in students one at a time in the lobby area in order to practice social distancing. Please wait in front of the studio if you notice there are 4 people in lobby area.

  • Before entering the studio, you’ll need to complete a daily health screening and have your temperature taken at the front desk.

  • We will not be providing yoga mats, props or adjustments, so please bring your own. We also have some available for purchase in our lobby area.

  • Our cleaning protocol involves NY State Department of Health approved cleaning products and we are continuously wiping down commonly used areas as well as disinfecting. We will be cleaning and disinfecting after every class. All products we are using are organic and safe.

  • When you get to the front desk: please sanitize your hands, sign in, fill out a COVID waiver and wait for one of our staff members to check your temperature before entering the studio.

  • We’ve installed NY State Department of Health approved HVAC air filters in order to keep the studio safe. We’ve also added an air purifier to both the lobby and in studio.

  • Please bring as few personal belongings with you as possible.

  • Students must exit studio one at a time. In order to allow the next class to safely enter, we ask that students carry any conversations outside in order to prevent lingering in the lobby area.
