The Invitation is Open

What would it feel like to set aside one evening each month simply to pause?

To step away from the peace and demands of everyday life and create space to listen, reflect and reconnect with what matters most.

Soul Rhythms is a year-long contemplative journey for those who want to live with greater awareness- of themselves, of others, of the natural world and of what they hold sacred.

Once each month, we will gather in community for an evening of contemplative and embodied practice, allowing the changing seasons and rhythms of the natural world to remind us to pause, listen, and return to what matters.

Times to grow.
Times to rest.
Times to hold on.
Times to let go.
Times to listen.
Times to begin again.

Guided by Jacqueline Morrison

Soul Rhythms will be guided by Jacqueline Morrison, founder and owner of the Long Island Center for Yoga.

Drawing from her years of yoga, meditation, contemplative practice and spiritual inquiry, Jacqueline created Soul Rhythms as an opportunity to bring these practices more deeply into the experience of everyday life.

This Year together is not about having all the answers or following one particular spiritual path. It is about creating space to listen more deeply, become more aware, and explore what it means to live with greater presence, compassion, and an open heart.

What We Will Explore

Each Soul Rhythms gathering will gently weave together:

Embodied Practice
Gentle yoga, movement and breath practices that invite us out of the thinking mind and into deeper awareness of the body.

Meditation & Stillness
Time to become quiet, listen and cultivate presence.

Contemplative Teaching
Each month we will explore a theme inspired by the wisdom of nature, contemplative traditions, yoga philosophy and the experiences of everyday life.

Personal Reflection & Journaling
Space to listen inwardly, reflect and notice what is arising in your own life.

Meaningful Conversation
Time for thoughtful sharing and listening within a welcoming community.

A Practice for the Month Ahead
Something simple to carry from our gathering into everyday life until we meet again.

Closing Blessing
Each evening will conclude with a blessing as we carry the intention of our practice back into our lives.

Wisdom- Gathering the Harvest
Looking back over our year, noticing what we have learned and considering what we wish to carry forward.

Themes may gently evolve throughout the year as we respond to the seasons, our community and what is asking for our attention.

A Journal for the Journey
You will be encouraged to choose a journal to accompany you throughout the year.

It will become a place to hold your thoughts, questions, intentions, insights, gratitude and the things you may be ready to release.

Monthly reflection materials and prompts will be provided to help carry the practice beyond our gatherings and into everyday life.

Over the course of the year, your journal becomes something uniquely your own- a record of what you noticed, what changed and what mattered.

Who is Soul Rhythms For?
You do not need to be an experienced yogi, meditator or spiritual practitioner.

Soul Rhythms is for anyone who feels a desire to slow down, listen more deeply and live with greater awareness.

For those who are curious about the inner life.

For those who find meaning in nature, silence and reflection.

For those who care about how they move through the world, how they meet themselves and how they meet one another.

For those who want to cultivate greater presence, compassion, forgiveness, gratitude and wonder.

And perhaps for anyone who has quietly sensed:
There is more to this life, and I want to be awake for it.

The Invitation is Open
You don't need to have everything figured out.

You don't need to know exactly what you're looking for.

Perhaps there is simply a quiet sense that you would like to create a little more space in your life- space to listen, to notice, to wonder and to reconnect.

Come as you are.

Bring your journal.
Bring your questions.
Bring a willingness to be present.
